Howard Rheingold and more NECC

Our identity is made up of many choices we make and displayed to others on everything from t-shirts we wear to our hair styles. But what of our online identity? Our avatars, our connections to online groups, our posts on blogs, and our pictures all make up our online identity. In this three minute talk, Howard Rheingold looks at how “tweenagers” use that freedom of the internet to move out of the controlled physical space they inhabit.

On another note, I have been wandering the pages of NECC content, Ning and blog, Twitter and Tech & Learning, and finding some amazing stories and worries. Here is a link to the latest videos, at least for today.
