Taking Part in the Coversation

Looking into the participatory nature of blogland, I find that reading the comments other educators, or not educators, are often as interesting and thought provioking as the articles themselves. This one got me going today. Trent Batson does a great job of pondering here. And he stirs the muck, and elicits comments.

And darn it, I want thought provokingideas and concepts, not answers. I want to wade thought some ideas, I have time to think about this stuff before decide. I’ll never take just one opinion.

This article is very interesting and even insightful. I like that. All this “technology” stuff and how it may or may not relate to education is very interesting. But the artivcle itself is somehow less to me without the conversation I can participate in in the form of comments.

I also came across the link below today while attending an EdWeek online chat (This is a link to the transcripts) about web 2.0 and the K12 environment. Given this week's look at social media, I thought it useful.
