Halloween in the Grand Canyon & Podcasts, Jing, & Photo Albums

I spent the Halloween weekend in the Grand Canyon with my 11 year old daughter and her two cousins from Las Vegas. It was a tough sell getting them to spend Halloween in the Canyon, but we decided we would do some reverse trick or treating. So there in Indian Gardens we wandered around the campsites saying, "Trick or Treat, would you like something sweet to eat?"

Pretty nice to give out the candy to the starved hikers rather than get buckets full in the neighborhood. Better for our health as well.

So below is an example of a podcast. This could be about a science experiment in middle school, a book report for a junior high student, or the narrative of a highschool student. But this one, is my daughter talking about her trip to the canyon this weekend.

Here is a Jing recording of some pictures we took on the trip. This could be an elementary school student talking about some pictures from their summer vacation, or a geology student talking about some rock formations. Lots of potential.

This are some of the pictures embedded here from a Picasa album.
